dyecnc_as9100_2Dye Precision CNC, Inc. AS9100D Certificate (2024 - 2027)

This International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. NOTE 1 In this International Standard, the term ‘product’ only applies to a) product intended for, or required by, a customer, b) any intended output resulting from the product realization processes. NOTE 2 Statutory and regulatory requirements can be expressed as legal requirements.

AS9100 Certification: To assure customer satisfaction, aerospace industry manufacturers must produce world class quality products at the lowest possible cost. This document standardizes, to the greatest extent possible, the quality system requirements of the aerospace industry. Standardization of compliance requirements results in cost savings due to the elimination or reduction of unique requirements developed for each different customer.

ITAR Certified

dyecnc_ITAR_2The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) are two important U.S.A export control laws that affect the manufacturing, sales and distribution of technology.

The legislation seeks to control access to specific types of technology and the associated data. Its goal is to prevent the disclosure or transfer of sensitive information to a foreign national.

ITAR contains a United States Munitions List (USML) of restricted articles and services.  EAR contains a Commerce Control List (CCL) of regulated commercial items, including those items that have both commercial and military applications.

To be ITAR or EAR compliant, a manufacturer or exporter whose articles or services appear on the USML or CCL lists must register with the U.S. State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). ITAR and EAR compliance can be problematic for a global corporation because the data related to a specific type of technology may need to be transferred over the Internet or stored locally outside the United States to make business process flow smoothly. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer or exporter to take the necessary steps to certify that they are in compliance with the regulations.
